This was achieved by Madhusha Mayadunne at the Miss International contest held yesterday in Japan’s Okinawa city, where the Miss International contest 2012 was held at a glittering ceremony. Madusha Myadunne who represented Sri Lanka was elected as the 2nd runner up by the Judges which brought laurels and glory to our country.
The winner was a Japanese National while the first runner up was a girl who hailed from Finland.
It is pertinent to mention that 77 contestants from different countries participated in this contest. The Sri Lanka Madusha Mayadunne was selected among the final 15 contestants.
She was able to successfully capture the 2nd runners-up position beating the other 12 contestants from other overseas countries.
